Job Title: Inside Sales Representative – Lead Generator (Hybrid)
Department: Contract Sales

POSITION SUMMARY:
The inside sales representative position is the tip of the spear when it comes to our new sales efforts. This individual will be responsible for organic lead generation that results in viable, repeat sales for both our Contract Sheetmetal division.
The inside sales representative will be responsible for generating, nurturing, and calling on sales leads. The end goal of this position will be to secure enough information and buy-in to arrange a meeting (either in person or virtual) between the lead and the Key Account Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation (75%)
  • Growing sales funnel by generating new leads through:
  • Website inquiry
  • Hubspot CRM
  • Apollo data mining
  • Industry publication review
  • Crafting email and phone cadences with Key Account Manager
  • Engaging these leads in the sales cadence including phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Effectively leverage HyFlex’s value proposition to capture needed information to move the lead up in the sales funnel (under the direction of the Key Account Manager)
  • Continuously nurture leads that are not ready to move into the sales funnel
  • Generating 3 – 5 quotable opportunities per month, with additional compensation
  • Marketing Outreach (25%)
  • Assist Key Account Manager with developing proposal and marketing materials
  • Monitor companies’ social media accounts

OBJECTIVES:

  • Growing and maintaining a steady flow of leads into the sales funnel
  • Qualify leads to move to the next stage in the sales funnel/secure a meeting
  • Partner with Key Account Manager to understand industry and business trends
  • Strategize with Key Account Manager to build a plan of attack for our sales penetration
  • Accurately and efficiently enter in customer sales orders for secured sales

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATION:

  • 2+ years of inside sales/lead generation experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proven ability to drive sales results
  • Excellent telephone/cold-calling skills including:

o Ability to mine data and company systems, to reach the appropriate contact o Rapport building o Active listening o Persuasion/negotiating

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of articulate professionalism in verbal and written communications, both with clients and teammates.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Optimistic and resilient personal mindset, believing in the goals of the organization and your abilities

PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Previous experience prospecting/selling in the manufacturing industry
  • Previous experience in crafting email campaigns
  • Previous experience with working in Hubspot CRM and Apollo

TRAVEL REQUIRMENT

  • Travel for this position would be rare and would typically be day travel (within driving distance).

POSITION TYPE:

  • Full time salary. 40+ hours per week as needed. This position will report directly to the Key Account Manager.

PAY & BENEFITS:

  • Salary begins at $50,000 (based on experience) + quarterly commission potential.
  • On Target Earnings: $57,000 - $72,000
  • Hybrid work potential after probationary period
